ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Sygnia is the fastest-growing multi-management company in South Africa. Join this dynamic company by becoming a part of their Employee Benefits Administration team as a Junior Employee Benefits Claims Administrator.
DUTIES AND DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking documentation received for benefit claims is complete and following up on outstanding documentation.
- Disinvestment and payment of all types of claims within the required turnaround times (e.g. divorce, death, retirement etc.)
- Applications for tax directives from SARS.
- Following up promptly where tax has failed.
- Updating claim notes on workflows directly onto Everest.
- Monitor workflow reports daily.
- Scanning and archiving physical documents in the department.
- Capturing nomination of beneficiary forms onto Everest.
- Working closely with all relevant parties, e.g. internal and external consultants, administrators, management, fund accountants etc.
- Assisting members, consultants and other stakeholders with queries via both email and telephone.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Matric is essential, as a minimum requirement.
- Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

- Must be fluent and articulate in English. Strong communication skills are essential – both written and verbal
